The Ant Hill Kids Commune take their name from a failed Canadian cult, though they are Singaporean. I am so stoked on these songs!! This is Emo in the traditional sense with that updated Screamo thing going on as well. There are soft parts, loud parts, great buildups and amazing strained screams. I am reminded of I, Robot, Still Life, Raein, Saetia... Basically, all the greats of the genre are well represented here. Not to say they are just rehashing or anything. These songs sound urgent, vital and are an all-around breath of fresh air. Thank you to My Endless Minutes for posting this originally.
