Beginning in Santa Cruz and eventually relocating to the Bay Area, Yaphet Kotto were an amazing Hardcore band on Ebullition Records. Two guitarists/vocalists. Mag was the singer, Casey was the screamer. They were the only constant members in their nine year existence. As a band, they were very openly political and unapologetic in their need to fight the good fight. The songs could go from mellow to raging in the blink of an eye. Not unlike 12 Hour Turn or Saetia. This is one of the best records Ebullition ever released... In my opinion. This is as honest as it gets, this fucking bleeds sincerity.
