Yes! Yes! Yes! New Foxmoulder songs!!! I have already posted about them a couple times before, and yes, they continue to rule everything around me! I don't feel like I have to go into detail about their sound or their influences. Just know, there are very few bands around right now that are playing with this kind of unhinged intensity and outright ferociousness. Still Screamo, still Hardcore, still Punk as fuck. These guys just keep getting better and better!! Toronto represent!

Foxmoulder - Rapture/Ascend EP

If you have been keeping up with my posts over the last month or so, you most certainly know about my outward fascination for all things Toronto. Well, Foxmoulder are definitely leading the charge here by continually releasing incendiary and inspirational songs that stoke the fires already burning in my stomach. These two new tracks are no exception. A bit more "Blackened" this time around, these two new ones are still following along at an EmoViolency pace. I would say, the production is a little better this time as well. The whole affair sounds more full, more complete. It is definitely still raw, still lo-fi-ish, still influenced by Jerome's Dream and possibly Me And Him Call It Us. I will never get sick of bands like this. And, as I have said a few times before, it seems the older I get, the more I need them. I am so excited to see what Foxmoulder are going to do in the future. Chaotic Screamo Hardcore Forever!!!! 4evr!!!!

Foxmoulder - Hindsight

Oh Yeah!! I can very easily get into this Lo-fi Screamo/Hardcore from Canada! The recording is pretty muddy. Sounds like they were playing in a garage or back bedroom or something. It certainly doesn't take away from the  power of these songs though. Filled with intense build-ups, chaotic breakdowns, Whiskey and Cigarette vocals and a shredding drummer, these songs leave me floored. This could be considered Emo-Violence if you talked to the right people. If you get off on bands like Beau Navire, L'antietam, Gallows Holier Than The Cross or any of those Electric Human Project or Robotic Empire bands from the early 2000's, you are going to like this.
